OBJECTIVE

Build a dynamic content strategy that empowers designers to use creative-strategic thinking to produce more purposeful content.

Harbour.Space is a state-of-the-art university focusing on Design, Technology and Entrepreneurship to shape the leaders of the future.

My journey at Harbour.Space when I came to sunny Barcelona to do my Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing, and was asked to join the team.

I worked on various projects focused on Content Marketing, Community Building, Workshop Facilitation and supporting Academic Coordination processes.

I played a key role in Capstone development and helping entrepreneurial Master’s students build and accelerate their startups throughout the year. I also led multiple hackathons for high school students, and taught classes at the annual Techscout Summer Camp.

Our goal was to train the next generation of big thinkers and tech lovers to become more future-forward and purposeful leaders.

I then moved to the marketing team full-time, where I developed an integrated content strategy, and built an interactive playbook to help manage creative teams and optimise content creation processes.

For a more detailed explanation of the content strategy, see the section below.

My Role

One of my main responsibilities included building a content marketing funnel that helps attract potential students and future-forward professionals.

After doing customer research and mapping out the key customer segments, I built an integrated strategy focusing on the optimal content formats, categories and topics needed at each stage of the funnel.

The goal was to create powerful content that would take audiences on an engaging journey from the first brand interaction to enrolment, all the way through to becoming a proud brand ambassador.

I then transformed the strategy into a playbook to help designers produce more purposeful content. The playbook consisted of visual timelines, guides, resources and an interactive Excel sheet with prompts to further promote creative-strategic thinking.

Creative Production

I was also responsible for planning the monthly editorial calendar. I worked with creative teams to drive projects from concept development to implementation, and helped deliver a wide variety of content across multiple platforms.
